Come join the fun at an unforgettable springtime celebration! Enjoy exciting outdoor musical performances on stage in the midst of the beauty of the blackwater swamp. At this time the performances planned include Bluegrass, Gospel, Western Swing, Jazz, and a special selection featuring Civil War melodies. Discover a unique handcrafted item among the displays of local art & craft vendors invited to participate.

Enjoy the springtime with a walk with South Carolina's premier naturalist, Rudy Manck. Rudy will lead 2 walks, one in the morning at 10 am and in the afternoon at 1:30 pm. It will be a opportunity to take a closer look at the flora and fauna of our beautiful blackwater swamp and learn about the natural world in the lowcountry.The walk will be $15 per person, admission to the park is included in the fee. A catered box lunch is available for $10.00. Reservations are required since each walk is limited to 30 persons. Reservations for lunches is required and payment for lunches must be paid in advance. Storytelling for Life Festival

Cypress Gardens will serve as host for a performance during the Stories for Life Festival, part of Piccolo Spoleto On Friday evening the Choctaw storyteller Tim Tingle will perform on the outdoor stage on the front lawn at the Gardens. He will be accompanied by local musicians, The Hungry Moncks and Deliah Chariker. Home Telephone has generously agreed to spnsor this event. The performance will begin at 8:00 pm and will be followed by a reception hosted by the Supporters of Historical Cypress Gardens. Admission Fee is $10 for adults, $9 seniors, $5 children ages 6-12. Advance tickets will be available.
